Hello from Boulder, CO!

I hope you’ve all been staying healthy and happy during these crazy times. I know it’s been forever since you’ve heard from me but I’ll be honest, it’s been a tough few months around here.

As some of you may know, my parents live with me now and they are both high risk for Covid 19. My mother was in the hospital twice in April which sent all of us into a tailspin. She tested negative for the virus but she was in ICU on two separate occasions for several days, so the risk of contracting the virus was very high. They still are not positive exactly what was wrong with her, but the good news, she is home and getting stronger every day.

Between my mom being so sick; my kiddos home and doing online school; my daughter missing prom and graduation and trying to figure out college for the fall; shuttering my business temporarily and trying to wrap my head around keeping everyone in my house safe; March, April and May were simply a blur. But I am back and gearing up for some summer fun – even if it’s just virtually!

I have some amazing connections around the world because of my travel business and I recently came across a wonderful opportunity that I knew might appeal to many of you. I’ve been doing a lot of this the past couple of months. It’s what’s keeping this travel junkie alive!

So … if you need a getaway and haven’t been to or haven’t spent enough time in Guatemala, you’re going to love this — even virtually! And I can personally vouch for Bindy Viviana and Karen Ayala. I’ve traveled with them both. They are knowledgeable, personable and amongst some of the finest guides I’ve ever worked with. I don’t know Nancy personally, but if she works with Bindy and Karen, she must be awesome! So check out this virtual travel opportunity and let me know what you think!
