Season’s greetings family and friends, I love this time of year! It fills me with love, hope and gratitude! I have so many things to be grateful for – family, friends, good health, and that I have a business where I combine my two greatest passions in life – my love of my children and my love of travel. I am grateful for a community of families like mine. It grounds me and gives my family and me a sense of belonging like nothing else ever has. Thank you. I am fortunate to have walked this path and encountered each and every one of you. You have shaped the way I see the world and I am eternally grateful for your love, kindness and support. And I am especially grateful for my beautiful children, Jo Jo and Jac. When they were young I read something by Toni Morrison (author and speaker). She asked, “Do your eyes light up when your children walk into the room?” The topic was about raising children and as she explained, the simplest way for your children to feel loved, cherished and validated is for them to see your eyes to light up when they walk into the room. I’m going to practice this even more this year. Every. Single. Day! Hug your children a little tighter this holiday season. Let the worries of the year dissipate as you draw your family and friends closer. And most of all … let your eyes light up! I am filled with love, hope and gratitude!
