Costa Rica – a playground for family adventures!

Costa Rica is a rich playground for family adventures! You name it, they’ve got it!

If you are like me, you’re thinking about your next escape. Winter and spring breaks are right around the corner and I am ready to have some family fun. Not sure I’ve ever needed it more!

Currently, I’m focused on Costa Rica! 
Although we’ve been several times, it is such a special place that we’re always eager to go back. If you haven’t been yet, it’s a must see/do, and flights from most anywhere in the US are regular and affordable.

And let me just say that Costa Rica is a veritable playground for family adventures, the kind of adventures that make building connections and creating inspiring memories a breeze. I love waterfall hikes and even waterfall rappelling (for the slightly older kiddos), white water rafting, kayaking, paddle boarding, zip lines…wow!

Costa Rica is known for its richly diverse flora, fauna and geography and being in the rainforest, cloud forest or on the beaches never disappoints!

But I have to admit, one of the things I like best about Costa Rica is you can play hard by day and stay at some of the most unique and comfortable lodges in the world, at just about any price point. I know, I know, it sounds too good to be true, but it’s not!
